Same problem here using Ubuntu 6.10 with panel 2.16.1-0ubuntu3. Panel crashes, restarts without the gwget-icon, but gwget is still running. Can even still use it per FlashGot from within Firefox. Attached the automatic generated bug-report from Bug-Buddy, which btw. pretends to not know the name of the crashed app.
