I'm trying to help him, so here are a few details :

* This didn't happen with Ubuntu 8.04.
* You can press the key you want, but if you don't the system won't continue 
booting (or it will take a very long time)
* After pressing a key, "ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [xxxx] enabled at IRQ xx" 
appears on the screen and the boot resumes until the next stop, and so and again
* After the line "Reading files needing to boot" appears, there is no need to 
press a key anymore in order for the boot to continue.

I know that this bug sounds really strange, but it does occur...
