Hi James, The important bug fixed is the one fixed in b10: the frame displayed from the video file was not always correct, and this mess up the output of that library. As you say, this library doesn't have any rdepends for the moment in Ubuntu, but this is the first step to integrate DVDStyler, a DVD authoring tool, that depends on that library (see Bug #105653) in Ubuntu.
Last version of DVDStyler has more than 5000 download since the 28th of August. >From diffstat output, you can see that most of the changes has been done in generated files (configure, pywxsvg/gtk/wxsvg.py and pywxsvg/gtk/wxsvg_wrap.cpp). But I have to say that new method appears in wxsvgb11, as last version of DVDStyler (1.7.0) doesn't compile againt b8, so it's not really a bugfix only release.
