Doesn't work for me: I've created the file in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/alsa-lib: /usr/lib32/alsa-lib /usr/lib/alsa-lib
Changed /usr/share/alsa/pulse.conf: Instead of lib "/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_conf_pulse.so" Modified to lib "libasound_module_conf_pulse.so" Run sudo ldconfig -v and saw that alsa libs were being read in. And skype still crashes.
