I've now seen the exact same behavior on English Ubuntu Edgy Eft. I had both multiple windows and miltiple tabes open on each and was attempting to bookmark one of the tabs.
Similarly, I cannot reproduce -- it may be significant that it crashed on my first attempt to add a bookmark after upgrading from dapper.
