ACPI's a go. Got a good load of the DSDT.aml file. I'll consider the issue resolved for now. If it causes problems again, I'll resurface. I'm very grateful for the help getting ACPI working, either way. I should be able to suspend and whatnot now, which was a major thorn in my side.
