I just tried again with intrepid beta, still not showing Greek. /usr/share/locale/el/LC_MESSAGES/ldm.mo was missing in the chroot, I put it there but no luck. Environment is OK I think, gettext -d ldm "Username" shows "Όνομα χρήστη" (yet some chars do not show up correctly because consolechars wasn't available to fix the console font).
