I was about to report this issue when i found this bug and another at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/251408 It seems they are for the same subject and one should be marked a duplicate of the other.
Is there any chance this will get fixed in intrepid. My guess is unlikely as the beta period has begun and it technically may be considered a new feature. Should I then go ahead and edit my xorg.conf as I have don in the past to fix this?
