Xserver "thinks" mouse1 event3 is a keyboard with 96 buttons and therefore it restarts. Here is a discussed entry in german language If a plug the Mx700 Mouse with a ps2-usb adapter to the usb port the problem resists. IF a use the ordinary "mouse" protocoll and hit a media button on keyboard the server is failsafe.
