Hi Matteo,
The Intrepid Ibex 8.10 Beta release is set to come out sometime today,
just watch http://www.ubuntu.com/testing . Could you please then test
the latest LiveCD of the Beta release to confirm if this is still an
issue? If the issue still exists, can you boot with the 'quiet' and
'splash' boot options removed and take a digital photo of you screen
when you witness the boot hang? I'm curious what error messages are
getting posted. Thanks.
