Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using. Ubuntu 8.04.1, actually plain 8.04 updated. 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename' or by checking in Synaptic. Installed: 2.22.1-0ubuntu2 3) What happened instead: I have open a MOV file from Apple trailers website (http://www.apple.com/trailers/), totem caches buffer for 5 seconds or less, after playing them it pause and caches the next 5 seconds or less. 4) What you expected to happen: I stop playing the video until it finishes downloading all of it then playing it when I want, just what I do in all flash players like YouTube. I have tested this in both totem mozilla plugin and totem stand-alone.
