I have the same problem in Edgy, pairing with my SE W300i phone does not work. Both devices can see each other, but after entering PIN on my phone, no window shows up asking for the PIN, and pairing silently fails.
In /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf, passkey is set to 1234: > passkey "1234"; Entering this PIN on my phone has no effect. In /var/log/daemon.log, these lines appear when trying to pair the devices: >hcid[4939]: pin_code_request (sba=00:16:41:1B:49:FC, dba=00:16:B8:E7:D9:F4) >hcid[4939]: call_passkey_agent(): no agent registered -- Can't pair phone and pc by bluetooth https://launchpad.net/bugs/45776 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
