fcitx seems to be an input method that can be used instead of scim to
input Chinese characters.

However, http://www.fcitx.org/main/ is only available in Chinese.

Liu Chuanxiang, could you please contact the developers of fcitx and
possibly open a bug report (if they use a bug reporting system) if they
can have a look at the problem.

Another possibility would be for you to record a video of the problem
(you can use a phone or a webcam), or details the use of fcitx (I
couldn't find any documentation in English).

Else, it might need the intervention of some Ubuntu devs fluent in
written Chinese.
