I'm removing the regression-potential tag since there is no clear
indication in this bug report that this used to work for the original
reporter of the bug.  Additionally, the bug maybe actually be in gnome-
power-manager as indicated by the 'gnome-power-manager' as indicated by
the log messages.  So it would be helpful to know which particular
version of gnome-power-manager you experienced this with.  You can check
via 'apt-cache policy gnome-power-manager'.  Also what are you power
management preferences set to for pressing the suspend button?  Thanks
