It is reproducible if you use a Dell Inspiron 6400 or if you have a "media direct" button at the top of your keyboard, I think. To recreate the bug, go to system -> preference -> keyboard shortcut (In french, it's "raccourci clavier", but I don't know in english. It may be "hotkeys") and assign the "media direct" button to "launch a terminal" (you can read 0xed). Click on close, try your recently assigned shortcut and you'll notice that it doesn't work. The button works if I assign it to "open home directory" or other action, but not "launch a terminal".
