This is not a bug people, it is just not configured by default. To configure the GGZ network (the main GNOME games network) do this: sudo aptitude install ggz-gtk-client
Then run the application and configure your profile and such properly (check all settings, configure them and apply them): ggz-gtk Now when you do the same thing again, the "GGZ Community (fast)" option will appear in the list when you pick a network game in glChess. To prevent further confusion and make it user friendlier the Ubuntu developers might want to preconfigure this, and for example by default make users have a guest account named "UbuntuUser01" or something. I hope this was helpful. ** Attachment added: "GGZ glChess Network" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18041676/ggz-glchess-network.png -- Chess network game https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/202005 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
