Just updated to 2.6.27-4 kernel with "apt-get" update manager dist upgrade (partial).
$ uname -a Linux pp3 2.6.27-4-generic #1 SMP Wed Sep 24 01:30:51 UTC 2008 i586 GNU/Linux Had to delete below line from /etc/X11/xorg.conf to get X RgbPath "/usr/share/X11/rgb" also had recompile pp3 keypad.
