Public bug reported: Binary package hint: usb-creator
I think it would be a good idea to be able to enter the MD5 sum for the ISO image in usb-creator so that the integrity of the ISO image can be checked before it's copied to a USB flash drive. Of course other software can be used to check the MD5 sum, but it would be easier for the user if everything can be done in usb-creator so other software is not necessary. By the way, on https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid the usb- installation-images blueprint has an "unknown" delivery, but shouldn't that read "beta available" by now? ** Affects: usb-creator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- no option for checking MD5 sums of ISO image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/275141 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
