Hi, I've been using bluez-gnome (0.28-0ubuntu1~ppa3) from your ppa and I haven't spotted any regressions. The current package in Intrepid (0.25-0ubuntu2) doesn't display "Services" right for me, but this works OK with your ppa package.
I've tested functionality with Nokia 6230i phone. "Browse Device..." feature works without regressions and I'm able to receive files from the phone using "Receive files from remote devices" as well.
