I'm using intrepid hal : Version: 0.5.11-3~ubuntu8 backlight control is not working. It just sets 2 values (looks like it's minimum and maximum backlight) randomly when I move the slider. F1 and F2 are not working at all and xbacklight has the same issue i.e. xbacklight -set 84 <- minimum brightness xbacklight -set 95 <- maximum brightness xbacklight -set 96 <- mininum again.. and so on.
