Indeed 'test' and '[' are two different programs. You can verify this
yourself by looking at the source package: you will find ./src/test.c
and ./src/lbracket.c (the '[' programme). They do similar (but not
identical) functions, and share the man page.

As such, I am closing this bug invalid.
