Public bug reported: Hi,
suspend and hibernate are working on my machine. If I suspend it, I can resume from it and everything is doing fine. I can do this as often as I want. But if I do a shutdown after such a suspend process, the system is going down and at the end, where the disks should be synced and the machine be powered off, I get a reset and the BIOS beeps and the machine starts again. This wouldn't be much a problem, if the disks got synced and unmounted. But it seems, the shutdown is very unclean. So my software-RAID-1 always is out-of-sync after that and needs to be re-synchronized. Taking very long on a 500GB-RAID. I also have orphaned files then and I think this should be fixed to not lose data. I attach my nvidia-log, because the bug-report is very complete and I think you can find all required information inside this log-file.
