@Felipe De la Puente -- I also had only gray boxes and several days ago used Synaptic to uninstall (remove all) then reinstall flashpougin- nonfree (Adobe) and it is now working again (youtube and others). I'm still getting crashes at about the same frequency (as when it was only displaying gray boxes).
