This is more than just an inconvenience. The fact that since forever removing the nolisten tcp line from /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc would cause X to start without the nolisten tcp option (and that same change does nothing here) adds unnecessary confusion and pretty much renders that whole file (xserverrc) useless as it's the only option in that file.
