Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be fixed. It is still intermittent, and while I sometimes get high speeds (50MBps), I sometimes get the expected low (10MBps) speeds. As others have pointed out, it does seem to be related to which SATA port the drive is connected to. I do need to properly test this to provide some meaningful info, which I will do ASAP.
