Confirmed again via http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/amarok
The MySQL dependency weighs in at 4MB, and the SQLite at 500k. The SQLite dependency is justified I feel, because most all users will have their music collections stored in SQLite (the default). Similarly, the MySQL dependency is just on the client library, not the actual database. There have been a number of issues with install-on-demand packages for playing mp3 files, so I don't think a similar setup for installing the MySQL client library is justified either. Both dependencies should probably stay as they stand, unless someone feels strongly otherwise.
