Moebius, your workaround works lovely :) However there's one thing it doesn't change: the cpu freq scaling governor.
So I was trying this out on the command line: sudo echo powersave > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor but I get a "permission denied" error (using sudo wtf)... any ideas?
