Public bug reported:

Kubuntu 8.04 x64, actually a desktop edition.

I wanted to give OpenVZ technology a try and still use my desktop
Kubuntu for convenience. Not a very common setup and I was prepared to
get some issues. I'd installed linux-openvz package. Looks like -openvz
modules and kernel are in place and succesfully installed.

Then I rebooted with -openvz kernel. Surprisingly, system booted up without
any issues, X started and I entered back to my desktop. Actually this message
written under -openvz kernel :)

Linux ath64 2.6.24-21-openvz #1 SMP Mon Aug 25 19:32:43 UTC 2008 x86_64
GNU/Linux

The only problem occured is that there is some issues with sound-related
modules. Hence, I have no sound.
In dmesg I have the following lines:

I know it is uncommon setup but well, bugs should be fixed anyway,
right? So, here it goes. I suspect that -openvz kernel was intended to
be kept in sync with others. This generally worked fine but for some
reason not for sound-related modules.
