Previously, the standby/hibernate and resume functions tended to be affected by the kvm module(s). This was documented in bugs #113038 and #163862.
Is there a chance the observed behavior may depend on whether the kvm /kvm-intel modules are loaded? I seem to remember that suspend would no longer work after I had installed VirtualBox in an earlier version. I apologize if this information is very vague. I hope that these hints would be helpful to the ones who want to play around with some settings to hunt the bug. -- suspend/resume broken on dell Latitude E6400 kernel 2.6.27-3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269490 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
