I can confirm this on Intrepid alpha 6 and on intrepid with konqueror
4.1.1. It seems to be specific to Konqueror since reading '.d'
directories over fish:// works fine in dolphin on hardy and intrepid.
I have also tested this on hardy with konqueror 4.0.3. The bug also
exists in this version although with slightly different symptoms. In
4.0.3 Konqueror offers to save the file or open it in Kate. Konqueror
seems to believe the directory is some type of source code, see attached
screenshot
