https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+question/44845 The same problem has been experienced with Samba shares on Debian Etch and Fedora Core 6 servers, and I have verified it with a 8.04 'server'. It only seems a problem when the file on the server is overwritten with Save.
