The easiest way to test would be to use a LiveCD. Alpha6 is actually
set to be released today/tomorrow. Keep an eye on
http://www.ubuntu.com/testing . On the Alpha6 link that will get posted
at that page, there will be information on where you can download this
Alpha6 image to test. Thanks.
