+1 to the following quote from Mackenzie: My thinking is that since the MPL & the trademark stuff aren’t really about end-use, but about developers, that putting it in an official Firefox release doesn’t make a lot of sense. Since that stuff is for developers, it should go in the COPYRIGHT file in the CVS and tarballs if it’s not in there right now.
