Thank you very much, Jacob. I've opened Synaptic, removed all packages with nvidia in its name (and the one which ends with "nv" and seems to be relative to the X.org). When I rebooted the computer, there was no X. I wrote "sudo defconf" after login in text mode, and although it was as if anything had happen, it must have done.
Then, I installed envyng (sudo apt-get envyng-core), and as I log in and executed the command "supertuxkart" (which hadn't work for some time because of this "bug"), the funny music started, and the game menu appeared. Thanks, and I hope it to resolve the problem for everybody. -- glxinfo crash on Intrepid Ibex: extension "GLX" missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269405 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
