I have nearly the same failure like klerfayt, but I also miss the categories under games. So all category icons but education are missing and replaced by question marks (in KDE4.1.1). I have KDE 4.1.1 and KDE3.5.9 installed on a 64bit architecture. A new testuser has also the same problem. I tried reinstalling all KDE4 packages but this didnt work.
