Patch in e2fsprogs git tree, but probably won't hit Ubuntu (per private
communication with Steve Langasek) until an upstream release is cut
(i.e., when e2fsprogs 1.41.2 is released). And we've already missed the
freeze window for Intrepid, so this probably won't get fixed until
Intrepid+1....
The patch is attached in this bug report, and it only happens in the
relatively rare cases of filesystem corruption, and only if a non-
English locale is selected, and it is only a cosmetic issue.
