Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sunbird
Running Ubuntu 8.04.1 : sunbird used to work fine on my computer before Sep 5th. After installing all available updates as usual (especially sunbird_0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu1~hardy1_i386) sunbird stopped working showing the error message display in the attached screen shot: XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: Undefinierte Entität (meaning undefined entity) This bug has similar symptoms as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/enigmail/+bug/126878/ Workaround: Using 'bash -c "LANG=en_US.UTF-8 sunbird"' works in english though. I suspect the package: pool/universe/s/sunbird-locales/sunbird-locale-de_0.7-0ubuntu1_all.deb needs to be updated too, but there is no sunbird-locale-de_0.8 yet. Is there a way to stop these backported updates until the needed language package becomes available too?
