No this is a "default" install which I directly enabled the driver with
Menu System > Administration >Hardware drivers

I then first tried a normal Ctrl-Alt-Backspace  >  X broken > failsafe
driver

Reboot > failsafe driver again

Jockey reports the driver as installed and "In use"

Cleaned up xorg.conf according to nVidias recomendations for unstable
Xorg 7.4 and GLX works again.

problem...
