I downloaded and burned the Alpha 5 ISO to CD last night. I rebooted my system and started from the CD (I had to run it in safe graphics mode to get it to work as otherwise the internal speaker would not stop beeping and the screen went to power saving mode as it could not detect an input).
The system started up and I set it to suspend. The system turned off as would be expected. I was unable to wake it with the mouse or keyboard so I pressed the power button and it came back on but the screen stayed in standby (black screen) and there was no response to pressing CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK etc (the light on the keyboard did not come on) so I think the system froze on resume. So just to confirm that Alpha 5 2.6.27 kernel does not resolve the issue. -- WinTV PCI causes freeze on resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/257373 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
