** Description changed:

- After receiving the kernal updates via update manager and subsequently
- rebooting the following problems were observed
  
- 1) Wireless networking does not function - unable to connect to wireless
- network from F5D7011 network card to network with WPA via Network
- Manager, card working but key not being passed so netowrk looked to be
- connected but no outbound internet connection available.
- 
- 2) Beryl (running compiz windows manager) was not updating screen
- correctly
- 
- 3) Avant Window navigator would not load correctly and was unusable
- (probably related to item 2).
