I have the same problem on a HP Compaq 8510p. I found it strange that the default settings were to "Do nothing" when battery power is critically low, so I changed it to "Hibernate".
Unfortunately this does not work, it just keeps going until the battery is drained. I'm running the latest Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64 with kernel 2.6.24-19-generic. Any ideas on how to solve this? Is this a known issue? By the way, I also set the action to "Suspend" when the laptop lid is closed. This does not work either. -- [Gutsy] Action on critical battery isn't triggered - regression https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135548 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
