I have more information on this bug. If the event is generated by another Kontact, it is the same, the receiving Kontact can't delete it. Now, if in the receiving Kontact I edit the event and delete the participant (the owner of the receiving Kontact), then the event can be deleted. I would say this might be worth reporting upstream, bugs.kde.org, right ?
