Sorry that it did take so long to respond. I found more problems in my ubuntu install and decided to do a complete reinstall. Restarting hplip and cupsys did not help. The hp-info did not function properly on my install. After a complete reinstall everything just works fine. It seems that it was a problem due to upgrading. Sorry that I did not post earlier.
