I confirm this bug, and I've been using the 2.6.15-25 kernel in my LG LW20 Laptop. In certain times, which seem to coincide with higher usage, the network just hangs. Sometimes it's enough to bring the interface down and up again, others it seems one needs to reload the kernel module. Anyway, this is a very annoying bug.
It is probably related with bug #38865, in which the driver caused the system to hang. This has been fixed with the kernel update 2.6.15-25, but the network hanging is still very real.
