find the spadmin application in the open office tree, confusingly this isnt in /usr/bin:
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/spadmin run this, choose properties, click on the (system configured) lpr command in the list box, mine is 'lpr -P "LaserJet-4100-Series-v.3010.107-Postscript-(recommended)" and hit ok.
