Public bug reported: on PowerMac G5, Dual 1.8GHz with NVidia 6800 Using MS VirtualPC 7 (of Mac OS X 10.4.6) I downloaded i386 ISO of Ubuntu 6.06 Mounted ISA as a CD and booted on new Virtual Machine (using Linux as option for V-Hardware)
Initial Screen with Ubuntu logo is fine, but when (I presume) it finishes installation video is corrupted (every time I try to boot it) take a look at screenshot http://www.setupmac.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-vpc-mac-broken.png Basically it is stretched, and unusable ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- 6.06 on Virtual PC (on G5 PowerMac) corrupted graphics https://launchpad.net/bugs/50178 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
