Public bug reported: I'm running Ubuntu Dapper Drake on an IBM Thinkpad T42p. Suspend was working fine until I upgraded from the 2.6.15-23-386 kernel to the 2.6.15-25-386 kernel. Now upon suspending, the screen goes black and the machine is unresponsive to mouse, keyboard and lid opening/closing, but the fan never turns off and I have to perform a hard reboot to get it back up. I just upgraded to 2.6.15-25-686, but the problem persists.
