Public bug reported: - install the jde package
- register JDK as described in file:///usr/share/doc/jde/html/jde-ug /jde-ug-content.html#RegisterSelectJDK - open a java file and select "code generation -> import -> class" from JDE menu reports error "bsh: Specified BeanShell jar filed does not exist: /usr/share/emacs21/site-lisp/java/lib/bsh.jar" (tricking beanshell by symlinking bsh.jar to /usr/share/emacs21/site- lisp/java/lib/ does not work either: it then does not find jde.util.JdeUtilities.setProjectValues) Apparently the original package as downloaded from http://jdee.sunsite.dk/jde-latest.tar.gz contains a complete set of jar files that should go in /usr/share/emacs21/site-lisp/java. Manually copying those files to that place completely solves the problem. ** Affects: jde (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- missing jar files in jde https://launchpad.net/bugs/49473 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
