Olá,
alguém sabe algum comando que indique a codificação de arquivos de texto
(.txt, .tex, etc)? Em versões antigas do Ubuntu,o comando file indicava
qual a codificação do arquivo. Agora (no Gutsy e no Hardy) esse comando
não mostra mais a codificação, apenas o tipo de arquivo. Procurando no
google, achei o enca e instalei, mas ele não dá suporte para inglês nem
português.
Agradeço antecipadamente quem puder ajudar.
