Olha o que recebi do suporte da LinuxService VIA ao perguntar se o drive
disponível no site funcionaria no meu notebook:

Thanks for your adopting VIA's chipset. Regarding the graphic driver, I
am worrying about the LCD of the laptop panel. The driver in VIA Linux
Portal doesn't guarantee the LCD support for laptop because of too many type
of LCD panel with different hardware connection/timing/resolution. Sorry for
that.
